JVM Performance Engineer at BairesDev

As a JVM Performance Engineer, you will specialize in the deep internals of the Java Virtual Machine to ensure peak application performance. You will be responsible for fine-tuning memory management and garbage collection strategies to achieve low-latency and high-throughput configurations for critical systems.

What You'll Do

• Analyze and optimize JVM garbage collection behavior to minimize pause times and memory overhead
• Use Java Flight Recorder (JFR) and Java Mission Control (JMC) to profile and diagnose performance bottlenecks
• Implement low-latency JVM configurations tailored to specific application requirements and workloads
• Monitor heap usage and perform deep memory leak analysis to improve overall system stability
• Collaborate with development teams to establish best practices for high-performance Java code execution

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on Java performance and JVM internals.
• Proven expertise in JVM tuning, garbage collection optimization, and memory management.
• Proficiency with profiling and monitoring tools such as JFR and JMC.
• Hands-on experience optimizing low-latency JVM configurations and resolving performance bottlenecks.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
