Software Engineer (Rust / WebAssembly) at BairesDev

As a Software Engineer specializing in Rust and WebAssembly, you will develop high-performance web applications by compiling Rust code for browser-based execution. You will unite native-level performance with the flexibility of the web, ensuring efficient and secure application delivery within modern browser environments.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop high-performance web modules using Rust and WebAssembly.
• Implement efficient communication between Rust and JavaScript using wasm-bindgen.
• Optimize browser-based applications for maximum execution speed and minimal memory footprint.
• Integrate WebAssembly modules into existing web architectures and frontend workflows.
• Debug and profile WASM binaries to ensure reliability and performance across different browser engines.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to define API boundaries and performance requirements for web-based tools.

What We Are Looking For

• 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on Rust and systems programming.
• Proven expertise in compiling Rust to WebAssembly for high-performance web applications.
• Proficiency with wasm-bindgen and integrating Rust with web-based environments.
• Deep understanding of bridging native performance with browser-based execution.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
