Elixir Engineer at BairesDev

As an Elixir Engineer, you will develop fault-tolerant, real-time applications using Elixir and the Phoenix framework. You will leverage the power of the Erlang VM to build highly concurrent systems that remain resilient under heavy load.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable web applications and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Develop distributed, real-time systems by applying OTP design principles and supervision trees.
• Optimize application performance and responsiveness by managing lightweight BEAM processes.
• Ensure system reliability and high availability through proactive fault-tolerance strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into high-quality features.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on functional programming.
• Proven expertise in developing fault-tolerant, real-time applications using Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
• Deep understanding of OTP patterns, supervision trees, and concurrency models on the Erlang VM.
• Strong background in building and maintaining scalable, high-performance distributed systems.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
