Software Engineer L3

What you’ll do

• Architect, own, and deliver complex, multi-quarter projects end-to-end, setting the technical vision for your domain.
• Identify and address architectural gaps, scale critical systems, and drive improvements in performance and reliability.
• Work closely with product, design, and business teams to translate business goals into a clear technical roadmap and strategy.
• Establish and promote best practices for operational excellence, improving monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
• Mentor L1/L2 engineers, contribute high-impact design documents and code reviews, and help raise the engineering bar.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a history of delivering impactful products.
• Architectural expertise in modern languages (TypeScript/JS, Python, Go, or Java).
• Experience designing, building, and operating scalable, distributed systems in cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
• Strong understanding of web APIs (REST/GraphQL), caching (Redis), and asynchronous processing (message queues).
• Advanced skills in designing, optimizing, and scaling SQL/NoSQL databases for high-traffic systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform).

Nice to have: Infrastructure-as-code, database optimization, distributed systems design, or experience with prompt engineering.
