Responsibilities:
As a Backend Engineer, you will work on specific problem domains, designing, developing, and deploying backend services with a focus on scalability, high availability, and low latency.
- Drive the efficient delivery of change through analysis, definition, and documentation of requirements, while identifying potential solutions using agile delivery frameworks.
- Solve complex technical and business problems and learn new technologies and frameworks.
- Be part of a team that takes full responsibility for the features you own
- Design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, and improve - you are responsible for the full lifecycle of your product.
Must-have:
- A pragmatic mindset
- Outstanding problem-solving ability, eagerness to learn, and curiosity
- +5 years of software development experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages (Python or Java)
- Strong database and schema design skills for large-scale applications
- Adaptable attitude and personality, ready for continuous change
- Collaboration and culture fit in an Agile environment
- Excellent English skills
- Databricks experience, Data ingestion, Model development
- Experience developing distributed systems using microservices architecture, serverless architecture, and event-driven architecture. Experience with Python (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI), Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, or similar technologies is a plus
- Experience with AWS, Ansible, Packer, Docker, and Kubernetes is a significant plus
- Experience with automated testing frameworks
- Strong English listening and speaking skills
- Experience working in the banking and financial domain
