As a member of the User Core Services team, you will design and own the foundational backend systems that power our entire ecosystem, ensuring seamless, secure, and high-concurrency user management at scale.
What you will do
System Architecture & Development
- Architect, develop, and scale high-performance, low-latency backend services utilizing Java.
- Continuously improve internal services, system architecture, and platform reliability to handle high-concurrency traffic.
- Build, maintain, and refine supporting internal tools and automated engineering workflows.
Quality, Observability & Lifecycle Management
- Own the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring high-quality code delivery.
- Implement comprehensive system observability, leading debugging, proactive monitoring, and complex issue tracing.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner closely with Product and QC teams to clarify requirements, propose technical solutions, and ensure system reliability and scalability.
- Translate product features into clear, production-ready technical designs and comprehensive architecture documentation.
What you will need
Core Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in Java-based technologies (with deeper, proven expertise in high-performance platforms for Senior candidates).
- API Design: Strong proficiency in RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Data Management: Deep knowledge of database systems, including hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Performance Optimization: Solid understanding of caching strategies, memory management, and performance tuning for distributed systems.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and observational skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Nice to Haves (Preferred Skills)
- Experience with high-concurrency systems, massive-scale distributed architectures, and advanced caching layers.
- Familiarity with system observability tools (monitoring, logging, and tracing frameworks).
