Responsibilities:

• Work on bleeding edge AI technologies to build the Flowable Agentic Case Platform.
• Use AI tooling like Claude Code to design and develop new features for the Flowable Agentic Case Platform.
• You will design, build and operate the development of Flowable Open-Source Engines (BPMN, CMMN, DMN) etc.
• Participate in workshops to design new features and / or provide solutions to our customers
• You will need to work efficiently to build the right things with limited guidance
• You will have the opportunity to work on open-source projects with a large community

• You bring an owner’s mentality and an impact-driven mindset to pitch actionable ideas, challenging the status quo to consistently improve our product.
• You drive high-value initiatives from concept to completion, translating creative vision into structured, high-impact features that deliver real value.
• Proactive, team-player, open-minded personality with a passion for AI, Java, open source and new technologies
• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with Java
• 3+ years of experience with Spring Boot
• Experience with developing a software product
• Experience with AI tools like Claude Code and developing major features with it.
• Experience with various relational databases like Oracle, Postgres, DB2, Microsoft SQL Server etc is a must.
• Experience working with Flowable or BPMN knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch is a plus
• Fluent in English
