We're Hiring: Senior AI-Driven Backend Engineer

What Makes This Different

This isn't just another backend engineering role. You'll:

• Design and deploy AI agents that solve complex problems across the entire development lifecycle (not just code suggestions)
• Integrate agentic AI into your team's workflows—from spec-driven design to implementation, testing, and validation
• Lead with engineering discipline—your job is to use AI strategically while maintaining rigorous quality standards
• Transform fintech infrastructure—moving from centralized mainframe to distributed, scalable cloud systems

Who You Are

Core Experience:

• 7+ years building large-scale systems with Java and/or .NET
• 6+ years working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, PCF) and microservices
• 2+ years hands-on with AI/ML implementation and production deployment
• 2+ years building with Kafka, event-driven architectures, and modern databases
• 2+ years modernizing legacy systems (mainframe → distributed platforms)

The AI Piece:

• Hands-on with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar AI assistants across your day-to-day workflow
• Working knowledge of agentic AI, prompt engineering, and LLM integration
• Ability to establish team-level practices for effective AI-assisted development
• Python proficiency (intermediate is fine—deep expertise not required)

What Matters Most:

• Strong software engineering fundamentals—SOLID principles, design patterns, testing discipline
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
• Bias for action + ability to partner across teams (architects, product, engineers)
• Bachelor's in CS/Engineering or equivalent professional experience

Nice-to-Have:

• Financial services or fintech background
• Experience with Agile + Atlassian tools
• TDD and QA automation mindset
• Master's degree
