We're on a mission to simplify and accelerate how teams and organizations develop solutions for the cloud. Langstack is an AI-powered development platform that enables teams to collaborate, create, and manage AWS solutions with unmatched efficiency. Azure and GCP support is on the horizon.

We're convinced that there's a better way to develop for public clouds, and we're crafting the programming paradigm that will lead the charge. Making cloud computing simple for software creators everywhere.

In many ways we're still a startup despite being several years into the journey. We've raised €1.8M over the years and have achieved profitability.

If you're in search of a conventional job, you might want to pause here. Our path to success won’t be linear and working at Langstack isn’t a 9-5 kind of gig. It’s not that we’ll expect you to pull all-nighters or meet frantic deadlines, but the problems we solve are demanding. They require effort, imagination, and critical thinking. For many, high-effort and challenging work doesn’t sound particularly sexy, but then again we’re not here to sell a position. However, if engaging deeply with product engineering and programming is what you love, Langstack could be a fit for you.

We believe that the best products are built by a small group of very talented people. You'll join an international team of 6 driven, enthusiastic, and friendly team members with an average age closer to 50 than to 25. A few of us began our computing journeys with a Commodore PET, while others started on an Amiga 500, to provide some context.

• We pay competitive salaries. Our compensation is not at the market's peak, but well above its bottom.
• Recently we decided to park our existing product and build from scratch again. There's incredible freedom in developing without technical debt. We’re running a stable company so we can take the leverage to innovate without risking our core business.
• We're a remote-first team working together with a high degree of flexibility. We use Discord as our digital HQ and meet at locations in Copenhagen - where most of us live - whenever necessary. If you prefer working from an office we cover the cost of a desk at your chosen co-working space.
• The engineering work we do is exciting and spans compiler design, source code generation, creating a visual language for backend programming, implementing an AI-first cloud IDE, juggling multi-cloud abstractions, and much more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
• +10 years of practical programming experience with:
• Java
• C++, preferably C++17/20
