Software Engineer (Quarkus) at BairesDev

As a Software Engineer specializing in Quarkus, you will develop high-performance, cloud-native Java applications designed for modern containerized environments. You will focus on optimizing application startup times and memory utilization using GraalVM native compilation to ensure efficient resource scaling.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop cloud-native microservices using the Quarkus framework and Java.
• Optimize application performance and resource consumption through GraalVM native executable generation.
• Implement container-first development practices to ensure seamless deployment in cloud-native ecosystems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Quarkus-based services into distributed architectures.
• Maintain high code quality and system reliability through automated testing and performance profiling.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on Java development.
• Proven expertise in building cloud-native applications using the Quarkus framework.
• Proficiency with GraalVM native compilation for optimizing startup times and memory footprint.
• Solid understanding of the Red Hat ecosystem and cloud-native architectural patterns.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
