Description & Key Responsibilities
Description
We are looking for a Senior Linux & Network Platform Engineer who can take full ownership of our infrastructure stack, from bare-metal Linux servers and networking. This is a senior hands-on role with a strong architectural and leadership component. You will drive our platform strategy, define best practices, ensure reliability at scale, and mentor developers on platform aspects.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build and maintain Linux-based server environments with a strong focus on reliability, security and performance.
- Administer and maintain enterprise Linux environments (Debian, Ubuntu, Talos).
- Manage and maintain virtualization environments, including platforms such as Proxmox and KVM.
- Configure and maintain Linux networking components, including VLANs, routing configurations, bonding and firewall rules.
- Implement and maintain automation scripts and configuration management using tools such as Ansible and Terraform. Design and operate network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, VPN, routing, VLANs, HA topologies).
- Define and enforce infrastructure standards, system hardening, automation and access policies.
- Lead troubleshooting and incident response across compute, network and storage layers.
- Implement automation for provisioning, patching and configuration management.
- Establish high-availability, backup and DR strategies across environments.
- Drive documentation quality, operational runbooks and infrastructure governance.
Benefits:
We focus on meaningful ownership and measurable outcomes. You will work on a platform that empowers developers, improves release reliability, and enables continuous automation across the SDLC. We will support a culture where reliability engineering, observability, and SLO-driven thinking are part of everyday execution. You will have the opportunity to shape standards for CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes operations, and immutable environments while contributing directly to tools and processes that increase developer productivity.Desirable
