$170,000–$210,000 base + bonus + benefits

We're partnering with a fast-growing AI software company that's building an enterprise platform used by large organizations to manage, monitor, and govern AI applications in production. Backed by strong customer traction and a rapidly growing engineering team, they're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help scale the core backend platform.

This is a backend-focused role where you'll design and build distributed systems, integrations, APIs, and data infrastructure while influencing architecture and engineering best practices.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and scale backend services, APIs, integrations, and data pipelines.
• Own technical decisions around scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Develop platform capabilities supporting AI governance, monitoring, lifecycle management, and operational tooling.
• Collaborate closely with product, infrastructure, machine learning, and security teams.
• Solve complex technical challenges and translate product requirements into scalable backend solutions.
• Contribute to system architecture, code quality, and engineering standards while mentoring teammates.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience building and scaling production backend systems.
• Strong experience with distributed systems, REST APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on development experience with Java/Spring Boot, or strong experience with Go or Python in backend environments.
• Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and software architecture.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment with high ownership.
• Experience building AI platforms or working in healthcare, fintech, cybersecurity, or other regulated industries is a plus.
