Role - Software Engineer (React/TypeScript)

Location - Reading (1 day onsite a week)

Salary - Up to £100,000

A recent acquisition of a tech brand to their portfolio has fuelled the need for a brand new technology function. This company is steeped in history in the darts world, and its recent acquisition of a tech firm that develops auto-scoring software means it needs forward-thinking technologists to join the team.

They are now looking for a Frontend Developer to join their founding technology team and build their product from the ground up

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, build, and maintain cloud services and user-facing frontend apps in production
• Independently scope and lead technical initiatives, laying the groundwork for early-stage products to evolve iteratively
• Contribute to the product roadmap, help set the vision and strategy for the venture, and act as a sounding board for venture leadership
• Develop and execute against both short- and long-term roadmaps.
• Make effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation

Why You’re Made for this

• Experience with any popular cloud provider (AWS, GCP,Azure)
• Proficient in React/TypeScript.
• Professional experience with Kotlin/Swift would be beneficial
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience reviewing code to maintain a high standard of code quality across the team
• A self-starter mindset, capable of context-switching between various projects, codebases, and concepts
• A prototype and rapid iteration mentality, using pragmatic delivery methods to have a fast impact and quickly identify the best solution for a problem
