Senior Software Engineer

Our client, a fast-growing investment lifecycle platform, is looking for a Senior Engineer, with a focus on either C+, Golang, Rust or Java, to join their growing team in New York.

This role revolves around working on high-performance, distributed systems engineering whilst designing low-latency messaging infrastructure. You will work on interesting and deep technical problems regarding the distributed systems, financial protocols, and infrastructure reliability projects.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in an professional engineering environment
• Experience working on low-latency projects and ownership of large-scale distributed systems
• Previous experience in the trading, finance, capital markets or Banking industries heavily preferred
• Strong systems-level fundamentals including concurrency primitives, memory layout, I/O models etc
• Proficient in C++, Golang, Rust or Java
• Degree or Masters in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or similar fields
• Great English communication skills
• US Citizen without the need for sponsorship

Preferred, but not essential

• Degree or Masters is from a top 40 university/college
• Bonus points for specific experience in trading or digital assets
