We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join a highly skilled Center of Excellence team operating like a technology startup within a large organization.
What will you do?
- Lead strategic technology initiatives and cross-organizational engineering projects
- Design advanced system architectures and define engineering standards
- Build POCs and production-grade solutions – this is a hands-on role
- Develop and implement AI-powered solutions and Agentic AI
- Build AI Agents at the code level
- Drive improvements in Developer Experience, Developer Productivity and SDLC
- Design and develop enterprise platforms and development accelerators
- Promote Cloud, DevOps, Platform Engineering and AI adoption across the organization
What are we looking for?
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on Backend development experience with Java & Spring Boot – MUST
- Significant experience in software architecture, solution design and technical leadership
- Hands-on experience with Cloud technologies, preferably AWS
- Strong experience with AI / Generative AI/ Agentic AI/ Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code
- Good knowledge of Node.js and/or TypeScript
- Experience with Frontend / UI development or strong technical understanding of frontend technologies
- Strong understanding of Kafka, RabbitMQ, REST APIs and system integrations
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS and/or OpenShift
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD
