As an Engineering Stores Specialist based on-site at Coca-Cola Ballina, you will play a key role in maintaining the availability and accuracy of critical spare parts and materials that keep our Operations operating at their best. This is a hands-on, plant-based role that combines inventory management, technical coordination, and close collaboration with maintenance, production, and finance teams. What You'll Do for Us
- Source spare parts and negotiate pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Receive, inspect, and correctly store deliveries within the engineering stores.
- Set up and maintain material master data in SAP, including prices and reorder levels.
- Process goods movements and manage returns for repair or refurbishment.
- Perform monthly cycle counts and resolve any inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain organized records of supplier quotes, purchase documentation, and monthly metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams-maintenance, production, warehouse, and finance-to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice or freight queries.
Requirements & Qualifications
- National Certificate or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years' experience in inventory, engineering stores, or plant-based manufacturing operations; food or pharma experience is an advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP (materials management and maintenance) and MS Office tools.
- Basic understanding of engineering parts and components to manage vendor and technical team interactions.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a compliance-driven environment with audit and reporting requirements.
- Digital fluency and ability to use data to improve accuracy and efficiency.
