The Service Deployment Project Manager manages technical and other related activities in support of system Installation and Deployment and serves as key project resource to ensure solutions sold to customers meet requirements as designed and intended.

What are your key responsibilities?

  • Develops and manages comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, resources, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Oversees pre-execution planning, including quote reviews and proposal input.
  • Leads cross-functional internal teams to take projects from sales proposals through deployment using defined project delivery processes.
  • Manages project budgets, track expenses, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to optimize costs.
  • Ensures timely and successful deployment of services in alignment with delivery schedules.
  • Coordinates and communicates effectively with cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain Management) and third-party service delivery partners.
  • Conducts regular team and stakeholder meetings to facilitate communication, address project-related challenges, and discuss SOW and project plans.
  • Develops a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Serves as the liaison between the company and customers, ensuring customer requirements and expectations are clearly defined and met.
  • Maintains a sense of customer partnership throughout the project lifecycle and ensure overall customer satisfaction.
  • Prepares and presents regular project status updates to key stakeholders and leadership.
  • Oversees integrated cooling systems installation and acceptance at the customer site when necessary.
  • Monitors and tracks project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks or issues.
  • Evaluates project outcomes for effectiveness and efficiency, gather feedback, and implement improvements for future projects.
  • Resolve conflicts and challenges during installation, startup, and commissioning processes, implementing solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Utilizes project management tools to organize tasks, allocate resources, and maintain project documentation.
  • Prepares and presents regular updates on project status, milestones, and key issues to stakeholders.
  • Engages in continuous improvement efforts for process enhancements and waste reduction.
  • Evaluates and selects subcontractors based on qualifications and performance.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field, preferred .
  • 5+ years of related proven experience as a Project Manager required , demonstrating successful completion of diverse projects.
  • Background in datacenter infrastructure or HVAC
  • Knowledge and experience working on Motivair product, preferred .
  • CAPM, PMP or other relevant certifications,
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to customer locations worldwide

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Experience in translating project scope of work (SOW) into a work breakdown structure (WBS).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and project management methodologies.

Who will you report to?
  • You will report to the Manager of Service Deployment. This role is a hybrid position. You are required to report to a Schneider Electric HUB in the US and travel up to 25% a year.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 101,600 - USD 152,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
