🚀 Platform Engineer

📍 Melbourne | Hybrid (3 days in the office)

We're working with a leading Australian organisation that is continuing to invest in its cloud and platform engineering capability. They're looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join a high-performing team responsible for building, automating and maintaining a modern cloud platform.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work across cloud infrastructure, automation and container platforms while helping shape the future of a large-scale Azure environment.

What you'll do

• Design, build and maintain scalable Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Automate platform provisioning and configuration using Ansible.
• Deploy, manage and optimise Kubernetes (AKS) environments.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support application delivery.
• Monitor platform performance, security and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering, security and development teams to deliver cloud best practice.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement across the platform.

What you'll bring

• Experience working as a Platform, Cloud or Infrastructure Engineer within enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong commercial experience with Terraform.
• Experience automating infrastructure using Ansible.
• Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes (AKS) clusters.
• Knowledge of networking, security and cloud governance principles.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Australian working rights.
