AWS Cloud Engineer

This will be a permanent, ongoing role. Based in Scoresby (Victoria). 5 days onsite.

Your new role

• Designing, building, and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Implementing security, governance, and DevSecOps best practices.
• Supporting AWS IoT Core and cloud-to-edge integration for autonomous vehicle platforms.
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Working closely with software engineers to support production systems and deployments.

What you need to succeed

• AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, RDS, DynamoDB)
• Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, VPN, Route53)
• AWS security (IAM, WAF, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector)
• CI/CD (GitHub Actions or GitLab CI)
• Python, Golang, or Rust
• AWS Certifications (Professional or Specialty preferred)

Nice-to-have

• AWS IoT Core
• Telemetry and data ingestion platforms
• DevSecOps experience
• SaaS or product engineering environments
• Autonomous vehicles, robotics, manufacturing, or IoT backgrounds
