About The Role

We are seeking experienced Platform Engineers to join our dedicated Cloud Competence Center at Cegeka. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and robust IT platforms tailored to our clients' needs. Your responsibilities will include automating processes, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with security standards. You will work closely with development teams to facilitate smooth workflows within cloud-native environments, utilizing modern tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and various IaC and CI/CD solutions. Your expertise will contribute to continuous system monitoring and optimization, leveraging observability tools like Prometheus and ELK stack, and integrating AI tools to enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications

• HBO or WO degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Go, or Java
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Bicep, Ansible
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD
• Extensive knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Familiarity with Cloud Native tooling such as Prometheus, Helm, Backstage, and OpenTelemetry
• Strong understanding of security standards, compliance, and system monitoring
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

• Design and implement scalable and secure platform architectures tailored to client needs
• Automate infrastructure and deployment processes to ensure efficient workflows
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous integration and delivery
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance
• Implement security guardrails and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Collaborate closely with software development and operational teams to streamline workflows
• Share expertise through training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Monitor system performance and conduct ongoing optimization using observability tools
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, and GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity
