Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead and optimize operations across a workforce of 130+ employees. This highly visible leadership role partners with Executive Leadership and cross-functional teams including HR, IT, Finance, Compliance, and Department Leaders to drive operational excellence, improve performance, enhance the employee experience, and support continued growth. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership and thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and develop strategies that support long-term business objectives.
• Establish and manage KPIs, performance metrics, and accountability measures.
• Oversee managers, supervisors, and team leads while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive process optimization through workflow improvements, automation, and operational best practices.
• Manage departmental budgets, staffing plans, productivity metrics, and operational expenses.
• Partner with HR on recruitment, workforce planning, employee development, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
• Collaborate with leadership across departments and lead organizational change and growth initiatives.
• Present operational insights and recommendations to executive leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Management, or a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading large teams of 100+ employees through multiple levels of management.
• Proven success managing managers and supervisors in a high-volume, performance-driven environment.
• Experience developing and executing operational strategies and large-scale business initiatives.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting, workforce planning, KPI management, and performance analytics experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools.
• Law firm, professional services, multi-site leadership, Lean Six Sigma, or change management experience is highly preferred.
