Role: Tools & Transformation Lead – Field Operations

Business Unit: BPS – Technology / Digital Operations

Location: US East Coast (New York / New Jersey, WDC, Tampa, Miami, Atlanta or other cities in east coast)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Tools & Transformation Lead to drive end-to-end digital transformation, tooling strategy, and operational excellence across large-scale field operations programs, including Autonomous Vehicle (AV) and global data collection platforms.

This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling AI-driven tools, analytics platforms, and automation frameworks to enable productivity improvements, cost optimization, and operational scalability across distributed global teams.

The ideal candidate combines field operations expertise, product mindset, and deep exposure to AI/GenAI-led transformation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Tools & Technology Strategy

• Define and execute the tools and platform strategy for large-scale field operations programs (AV / Mapping / Mobility)
• Lead the development and deployment of:
• Field operations management tools
• Workforce planning and scheduling platforms
• Fleet tracking and depot management systems
• Drive adoption of GenAI, analytics, and automation frameworks across operations

2. Transformation & AI Enablement

• Lead AI/GenAI-led transformation initiatives, including:
• Process automation
• Productivity optimization
• Decision intelligence platforms
• Build and scale LLM-enabled solutions (reporting, insights generation, anomaly detection, etc.)
• Drive transition from manual workflows to AI-driven operations
• Partner with AI vendors (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic) and internal teams for solution deployment

3. Field Operations Optimization

• Bring strong understanding of Autonomous Vehicle / Field Ops ecosystem, including:
• Depot operations and expansion strategy
• Fleet lifecycle and utilization management
• Workforce supply chain (driver/operator hiring, onboarding)
• Enable tools for:
• CAP planning & capacity modeling (fleet + workforce + demand)
• Training cohort planning & deployment readiness tracking
• Productivity and performance measurement across regions

4. Data, Analytics & Insights

• Establish data-driven decision frameworks across operations:
• KPI dashboards (utilization, downtime, SLA adherence, productivity)
• Predictive analytics for supply-demand matching
• Build real-time visibility platforms for leadership and clients
• Drive ROI measurement frameworks for transformation initiatives

5. Program & Stakeholder Management

• Partner with:
• Global delivery teams (India, US, Philippines, etc.)
• Client stakeholders (Google, Waymo, Apple-type programs)
• Field partner ecosystem
• Lead:
• Transformation roadmaps
• Business reviews (MBRs/QBRs)
• Executive reporting and presentations

6. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

• Drive standardization and process excellence across geographies
• Implement scalable frameworks for global rollouts
• Lead productivity improvement initiatives:
• Reduce time-to-productivity for new hires
• Improve fleet utilization and output efficiency
• Ensure delivery against SLA, KPI, and cost targets

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in:
• Field operations / mobility / logistics / AV programs
• Tools transformation / digital transformation roles
• Proven experience in:
• Building and scaling operational tools/platforms
• AI/GenAI or analytics-driven transformation initiatives
• Managing large-scale distributed/global teams
• Strong knowledge of:
• Field operations (fleet, depot, workforce)
• Program management and stakeholder management
• Data analytics, dashboards, and performance frameworks

Preferred Skills

• Experience with:
• Autonomous vehicle operations / mapping programs
• GenAI tools, LLM-based solutions, and AI platforms
• Workforce planning and optimization tools
• Understanding of:
• Agentic AI / automation frameworks
• Token optimization, AI cost management
• AI governance, security, and risk mitigation
