Reporting to the Senior Director, this role translates enterprise and OU ambition into clear, actionable growth opportunities, supports strategic prioritization, and drives cross-functional alignment on where to play and how to win.
The Director acts as a trusted strategic partner to senior business leaders—shaping choices, elevating strategic thinking, and enabling effective strategy-to-execution translation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead priority growth strategies
Own and drive selected growth domains (e.g., category, channel, portfolio, whitespace, long-term bets).
Translate macro trends, insights, and competitive intelligence into clear strategic implications and choices.
- Support strategic prioritization & choice-making
Ensure resource and capability alignment for the most critical growth opportunities.
- Support strategy execution discipline
Drive timely recommendations to accelerate, pivot, or reinforce actions.
- Partner cross-functionally for integrated planning
Support the annual business planning (ABP) and long-range planning (LRP) cycles.
- Facilitate strategic dialogue & alignment
Support senior leaders in aligning priorities across functions and bottling partners.
- Provide thought leadership on complex challenges
Support scenario planning, risk assessments, and opportunity shaping.
- Develop talent and ways of working
Contribute to building future capability for the Strategic Growth team.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Experience
- 10+ years in strategy, growth strategy, management consulting, commercial planning, or business transformation.
- Experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives.
- Strong track record shaping strategic choices and supporting execution governance.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem framing.
- Ability to translate insights into actionable growth strategies.
- Excellent synthesis and executive communication.
- Strong stakeholder leadership, collaboration, and influence.
- Comfort with ambiguity and complex decision environments.
- Experience with large-scale initiatives or transformation programs.
- Consumer goods or fast-moving industry knowledge.
- Experience with scenario planning or agile ways of working.
