Role Description The Entrepreneur at voltsev will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, shaping product concepts, and leading initiatives from idea through validation and launch. Day-to-day work includes conducting market and customer research, defining business models, building and testing prototypes or minimum viable products, and iterating based on feedback and performance data. The role involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing project timelines and resources, and preparing pitch materials or investor updates as needed. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Austin, TX, with a blend of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. The Entrepreneur will play a central role in setting strategic priorities, driving execution, and building systems and processes that support sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in starting, scaling, or significantly growing ventures, products, or business lines.
• Strong skills in market research, customer discovery, and competitive analysis to validate opportunities and reduce risk.
• Ability to develop and refine business models, go-to-market strategies, and basic financial projections.
• Experience in product development or innovation, including testing hypotheses, building MVPs, and iterating based on data.
• Effective communication and storytelling skills for articulating vision, pitching ideas, and aligning stakeholders.
• Project management capabilities, including prioritization, timeline management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Comfort with ambiguity, experimentation, and rapid learning in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience in founding or leading ventures is highly valued.
• Prior experience in a startup or early-stage environment in Austin, TX or similar innovation ecosystem is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup, balancing on-site collaboration in Austin, TX with productive independent work from home.
