Key Responsibilities
Provides leadership and direction through managers to ensure that overall marketing function is effectively meeting the organization’s strategic goals for a segment/ functional area Directs the assessment of market sizing and opportunity definition for implant product upgrades. Development of market requirements for new implant product upgrade opportunities. Includes leading product strategy definition, requirement analysis, and pricing strategies. Directs and aligns the activities of a segment/functional area and leads effective marketing and engineering teams, including alignment with product unit teams. Directs the development of segment/functional business plans, assesses market penetration and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share. Recommends to GM how to most effectively deploy resources to achieve business goals for a segment/ functional area Monitors market research, competitive activity and identifies/evaluates customer needs; assess competitive advantages and recommends techniques and product enhancements to increase market penetration. Works with account teams and business management leadership to develop pricing strategies while enhancing profit margins and creating a pipeline of meeting customer requirements and value realization Drives effective interface with engineering, manufacturing and sales to develop new products and enhance existing products as well as communicate critical market needs and time requirements Ability to assess feedback from several diverse sources (FSO, PSE, GPS/TPS, CE) to assess potential HVP and in-fab trends of tool install base(s).

- Demonstrates broad and comprehensive understanding of different systems, customer/fab operations and tool utilization
- Applies broad industry and commercial awareness to drive financial and operational performance across business unit, department or sub-functions
- Leads through managers and cross-functional teams located in factory and field; executes segment/functional business plans and contributes to the development of segment/functional strategy
- Directs the resolution of complex or unusual business problems applying advanced analytical thought and judgment, superior cross-functional collaboration
- Guided by segment/functional strategy, impacts results of a department, business unit or sub-function or facilitates the work done by other segments/functions by providing support to impact the business
- Negotiates and influences the opinions of others at the senior executive level and in external organizations; exercises sensitivity to the audience

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
