Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the CEO to translate the company's vision and strategic priorities into clear operational plans and measurable outcomes
- Take ownership of day-to-day operations and ensure that the organization runs efficiently, predictably, and with clear accountability
- Build, improve, and standardize processes across functions to create a seamless and scalable operating model
- Identify operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and gaps, and implement practical solutions to address them
- Establish clear workflows, responsibilities, KPIs, reporting structures, and operating rhythms across the organization
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure effective collaboration between business, technical, operational, and commercial functions
- Drive execution of strategic initiatives from planning through implementation, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met
- Support the CEO in prioritization, decision-making, resource allocation, and organizational planning
- Introduce appropriate systems, tools, and processes as the company grows, without creating unnecessary bureaucracy
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability, continuous improvement, and effective communication
- Help the organization transition from an entrepreneurial, founder-driven environment toward a more structured and scalable operating model
- 5+ years of experience in operations, general management, business management, consulting, or a similar leadership function
- Previous experience in a COO, Head of Operations, General Manager, Operations Director, or comparable senior role is highly desirable
- Experience working in a startup, scale-up, entrepreneurial, or fast-growing company
- Strong track record of building and improving processes in environments where structure is still developing
- Strong business acumen and the ability to connect operational decisions with broader business objectives
- Comfortable working with technology and technical teams, with the ability to understand complex products, systems, and processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Excellent project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and functions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both senior leadership and operational teams
- High level of ownership, autonomy, and accountability
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and creating structure where there is none
- A pragmatic, hands-on approach: willing to step into the details when necessary while keeping the bigger picture in mind
- Experience working across international teams or markets, particularly in Eastern Europe, is a strong advantage
- Professional fluency in English
