Our Team, Your Impact

The External Manufacturing (ExM) Governance & Digitalization Lead will build and run the ExM governance operating system and accelerate digital enablement across the global CMO/CDMO network. The role is a cornerstone of the ExM Business Operations capability—owning the strategic roadmap control tower, standardizing ways of working across ExM, and digitalizing relationships with CMOs.

Key Responsibilities

• Governance Operating System
• Design and implement governance cadence, decision rights, and KPI framework
• Establish escalation and action tracking processes
• Ensure consistency and transparency in performance management
• Standardization of Ways of Working
• Develop and deploy standard work, templates, and playbooks
• Harmonize practices across ExM verticals and functions
• Drive adoption through change management and training
• Digitalization of CMO Relationships
• Define digital strategy aligned with CMO segmentation
• Enable dashboards, shared workflows, and data visibility
• Partner with IT to implement secure collaboration tools
• Strategic Roadmap & Control Tower
• Own transformation roadmap governance and reporting
• Provide insights for prioritization and decision-making
• Ensure alignment across functions and initiatives

Your Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Supply Chain, or related field
• 8–12+ years in pharma/biotech operations or external manufacturing
• Strong experience in governance design and digital transformation
