Mutares actively supports its portfolio companies with its own investment and operations teams and through strategic add-on acquisitions. The focus is on companies with revenues ranging from EUR 100 million to EUR 750 million, across various industries. The aim is to achieve a clear value increase with a focus on sustainable, long-term growth of the portfolio company.
Your Tasks
- As part of the Transformation Management Office (TMO) team, supporting our portfolio companies throughout their turnaround journey by working closely with the management board and the Mutares team
- Establishing a business plan incl. a turnaround concept and driving the implementation together with the Operations team and the portfolio company, including the management of different stakeholders
- Assessment of strategic decisions (e.g. Insourcing/Outsourcing) together with the local teams and the Mutares team
- Supporting the acquisition and integration process of add on acquisitions
- Establishing the management governance and coherent tracking and reporting within the portfolio company
- Successfully completed a degree in the field of economics, engineering, science or similar with outstanding results
- At least 6 years of experience in transformations, restructuring or turnaround situations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Business fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate in a well-structured and concise manner
- Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week (typically Monday – Thursday) and to work in an international environment
