Role Overview:
SIG Partners is seeking an experienced executive with a corporate automotive marketing and/or business development background to join the firm as a CEO-in-Residence for an opportunity in the Pacific Northwest.
The CEO-in-Residence will work alongside SIG Partners through the final stages of diligence and acquisition, and upon closing, will transition into the CEO role of the acquired company. This individual will be responsible for leading the business, driving growth initiatives, and executing strategic priorities with a strong emphasis on revenue generation, market expansion, and commercial excellence.
The CEO-in-Residence will receive a meaningful equity ownership stake and serve as both CEO and a member of the Board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with SIG on final diligence, commercial assessment, and transition planning
- Post-closing strategic and operational responsibilities typical of the role of CEO
- Post-closing responsibilities typical of the role of a board member of a small company
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Automotive industry background with experience in marketing, commercial strategy, or business development
- Prior CEO, President, or GM experience
- 7+ years of management experience including P&L management
- Entrepreneurial minded with a willingness to take calculated risks
- Demonstrated ability to improve profitability and grow businesses or business units
- Excellent leadership skills
Requirements:
- Must have automotive industry experience
- Must be willing to relocate to the Pacific Northwest and be on-site
- Willing to personally guarantee senior debt (e.g., SBA 7(a)) if required
- Minimum of $100,000 in liquidity to invest at closing
