Company Description:
CypXcom is a deep tech startup.
We build the hardware resilience layer that keeps autonomous systems operational under attack, across air, ground and maritime.
PodLink is the product this role is about.
It is a low cost communication node that rides on any vehicle in the field and does two things: it holds command and control when the primary link degrades or is jammed, and it brings a mixed fleet into one shared operating picture.
The architecture is defined and documented, and the work now is turning it into a product.
PodShield, our first product, is an inline hardware gateway that sits between external inputs such as GNSS, RF and command channels and the guidance controller of a high value platform.
It holds the line across more than 30 independent zones and has no operating system to attack, so the platform keeps functioning under GPS spoofing, RF jamming and command hijacking.
This is operational continuity, not alerts.
PodNav is where we are heading after that: navigation that does not depend on a signal anyone can jam, spoof or take away.
Where we are today: a working base and a demonstrator, a USPTO provisional patent filed, early pilot conversations underway, and a pre seed round forming.
Responsibilities
I am looking for a technical cofounder to build this with me, not an early employee.
You are not starting from a blank page.
PodLink has a working base and a demonstrator, PodShield has a defined architecture, and there is a strong hardware and product team around you.
You own PodLink end to end, from where it stands today to a field ready product, and you own embedded systems and integration across the company.
You shape the technical direction from here.
Cofounder level equity with vesting.
Qualifications
* Product orientation: thinks in terms of the user, the use case, and how technology becomes something people actually deploy.
* Business sense: understands customers, pilots and go to market, and can hold a room with a defense customer or an investor.
* Wants ownership of a hard problem from the ground up.
* Embedded systems depth, comfortable working next to the core.
* A track record of taking hardware from prototype to field ready.
* At home in the RF domain: link budgets, radio integration, and what happens to a receiver sitting centimetres from a transmitter on a moving platform.
