About the office

The Office of the Chief AI Officer at Fulcrum Digital leads the company's agentic AI agenda and builds FD RYZE®, our enterprise AI platform deployed across insurance, financial services and payments. The office carries an unusually wide span, from engineering talent and programme governance through to research, press and public speaking, across Indian and US time zones.

About the role

This is the senior seat in the office, working alongside the Chief AI Officer on everything the role touches. It exists to hold that wide span together and to make certain that nothing of consequence is dropped, delayed or left without an owner. It is a role of real proximity and real leverage, and it suits someone who wants their fingerprints on the whole agenda rather than a single slice of it.

What you will own

- The talent pipeline into the AI Innovation Hub, from internal mobility across Fulcrum to external hiring at the sharpest end of the market, with direct accountability for the calibre of who joins

- Oversight of every programme run by the office, tracking cadence, commitments, dependencies and slippage, so the true state of any programme is known at any hour without a deck being built for it

- The Chief AI Officer's own portfolio of branding, speaking, press, podcasts, interviews, research publications and travel, run as one coherent body of work rather than a series of unconnected invitations

- The day-to-day operating rhythm of the office, including a direct daily briefing to the Chief AI Officer

- The work that has no description at all, from a document that has to exist by morning to the problem nobody else has picked up, treated as the same work rather than sorted into what is worthy and what is not

- Leadership of an Executive Associate and an Executive Coordinator who both report into this role

Who we are looking for

- A strong preference for graduates of the leading IITs and IIMs, in particular IIT Bombay, Madras, Kharagpur, Kanpur and Delhi, and IIM Ahmedabad and Bangalore

- Exceptional written and spoken English, with the presence to draft in the Chief AI Officer's name and to represent the office in senior rooms

- Sound judgement, discretion, and the range to be genuinely useful across very different kinds of work

- Someone early in a career that is about to move quickly, rather than someone already settled into a single lane

Designation and band are mapped to experience on Fulcrum's executive office track, with Chief of Staff as the functional designation for the office.
