Monthly Compensation $800 USD Base Salary + Up to $150 USD Monthly Performance Bonus Your salary is paid in USD, providing stability and competitive earning potential while working remotely from South Africa. What You'll Be Doing As a Receptionist at PJI Law, you'll play a vital role in creating an exceptional first impression for every person who contacts our firm. You'll ensure all incoming communications are handled promptly, professionally, and consistently while supporting the Intake Team and helping keep our daily operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include: - Answering incoming calls within 5 seconds, promptly and professionally, while following established call scripts and workflows - Providing a warm, empathetic, and professional experience for every caller - Managing SMS and email communications using approved templates and responding within established service standards - Accurately documenting every client interaction, call, and disposition in our CRM - Creating and managing new leads in our CRM when Intake Specialists are unavailable - Referring prospective clients to appropriate resources when our firm is unable to assist, following established referral procedures - Supporting the Intake Team with scheduling, reminders, conflict checks, client agreements, and data entry as needed - Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is entered correctly into our systems - Assisting with process documentation and administrative projects - Performing general administrative and office support duties during quieter periods - Collaborating with team members to ensure every caller receives an outstanding client experience We're Looking For Someone Who: - Can remain focused while working independantly from home - Has outstanding customer service and communication skills - Enjoys helping people and answering questions - Has a calm and professional demeanor - Has excellent phone etiquette - Is fluent in spoken and written US English - Has exceptional grammar, spelling, and attention to detail - Learns new technology quickly - Thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment - Can multitask without sacrificing quality - Takes ownership of their work - Has a growth mindset and welcomes feedback - Can complete the workday without checking personal social media This role is built for someone wired a specific way. If a missed call makes you twitch, if "I'll respond later" isn't in your vocabulary, and if inbox-zero is a way of life rather than a goal — we should talk. Work Schedule This is a full-time remote position working US Eastern Time business hours, Monday – Friday. - Working hours will generally fall between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM Eastern Time (ET), depending on your assigned shift. This corresponds to approximately 1:00 PM/2:00 PM through 2:00 AM/3:00 AM South African Standard Time (SAST), depending on U.S. daylight saving time. Shifts may start as early as 7:00 AM and end at 4:00 PM, or start as late as 11:00 AM and end at 8:00 PM ET.
