We are seeking detail-oriented and autonomous Field Data Verification Specialists to support a Point of Interest (POI) data collection project. As an independent contractor, you will visit designated physical stores to verify operational status and collect specific geographic data. This role requires high reliability, comfort with field navigation, and strict adherence to data quality standards.What we need from you

• Field reliability and attention to detail: You follow instructions precisely and consistently deliver evidence that meets quality thresholds.
• Autonomy: You can complete store visits and data submissions with minimal oversight.
• Navigation confidence: You can reliably find locations using mobile map tools within your assigned zone.
• Evidence and media discipline: You can capture brief videos and storefront footage that clearly support operational verification.
• Comfort with mobile workflows: You can use a dedicated data collection app, manage submissions, and follow operational steps correctly.
• Connectivity awareness: You can maintain a stable mobile data connection during field activities and manage battery life for uninterrupted work.

Technical readiness (mandatory)

• Operating system: You must use your own Android smartphone. iOS devices are not supported.
• RAM: Minimum 8GB RAM.
• Android version:Android 7.0+.
• Device compatibility: Some devices/smartphones using specific Android 9.0 configurations may be incompatible with our secure collection environment—such devices cannot be used.

At WebOps LLC, we run a Point of Interest (POI) data collection program that helps keep location and venue records accurate, complete, and up to date. This project focuses on verifying the operational status of designated physical stores and capturing specific geographic and media evidence to support data quality checks. As a Field Data Verification Specialist, we assign you a target set of stores within your geographic zone. You will independently visit each store, confirm on-site conditions, and submit structured verification results—including location-relevant media and automated network presence logs—so our team can maintain reliable POI datasets for downstream applications.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for detail-oriented, highly reliable Field Data Verification Specialists to support our POI data collection project. In this independent contractor role, we assign you target stores within your designated zone, and we expect you to complete each verification accurately and on time.

• Use mobile map navigation to locate assigned target stores within your geographic area.

• Operate a dedicated data collection application to verify on-site details exactly as requested.

• Record brief in-store videos and capture storefront footage to confirm the operational status of the venue.

• Conduct automated Wi‑Fi scans using the provided application to log network presence.

• Ensure all submitted media meets our strict quality guidelines (e.g., clarity, relevance, and evidence requirements).

• Maintain strict adherence to data quality standards and confirm your indoor presence at the designated coordinates.

• Submit complete and accurate verification information through the application for every assigned store.

Desirable Qualifications

• Prior experience with field data collection, store verification, retail auditing, or location-based surveys.
• Familiarity with using mobile map navigation and troubleshooting basic connectivity issues while in the field.
• Experience capturing consistent photo/video evidence for compliance or quality assurance workflows.
• Comfort running automated or semi-automated tasks inside a mobile application.
• Strong reliability: punctual completion of assigned store checks and careful attention to submission accuracy.
