About the Company

Our client is an integrated creative and performance marketing agency founded in 2012, with offices in San Francisco, New York, and Vietnam. The agency partners with a mix of established Fortune 500 brands and emerging Series A and B startups, spanning both B2C and B2B work across creative, content, paid media, and performance marketing. The agency is entering a growth phase this year, with a particular focus on serving fast-moving, agile clients, and is actively evolving into an AI-native organization.

About the Role

Our client is hiring a Chief of Staff to bring structure and operational rigor to a growing, distributed team. Reporting directly to the founder and CEO, this person will own internal coordination, process development, and the rollout of new AI tools across the organization. The role exists because the agency has scaled past the point where things can run informally, and needs an operator who can build the systems and processes from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operational coordination across a distributed team spanning San Francisco, New York, and Vietnam
• Build standard operating procedures from scratch across time tracking, resourcing, and onboarding
• Lead recruitment and onboarding processes as the team continues to grow
• Define and implement workflows for vendor payments and billing
• Drive the sourcing and management of a bench of AI content creators
• Own the rollout and adoption of new AI tools across the organization
• Lead office operations as the agency scales its San Francisco headquarters
• Partner directly with the founder and CEO on strategic projects and business priorities
• Build the operational backbone needed to support a fast-growing, agile client roster
• Define processes that can scale with the organization as headcount and complexity increase

Requirements

• Chief of Staff or operations experience at a high growth company (tech startup or agency), reporting to the CEO
• Demonstrated ability to build standard operating procedures from scratch with minimal oversight
• Strong track record of taking ownership of open-ended business problems independently
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, distributed team environment
• Able to work onsite in San Francisco four days a week, with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays
• Experience in a marketing or creative agency is a plus
• Familiarity with AI tools and workflows is a plus

Nice to have

• MBA from a top tier school with management consulting or finance experience.

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation range for this role is $140,000 to $180,000, with flexibility for the right candidate. Full benefits are included.
