Their mission is to build lean, scalable initiatives that balance compliance, credibility, and long-term impact. They are seeking a Startup Consultant to provide strategic guidance in decision-making, business development, product market fit, etc.

Role Overview

As a Startup Consultant, you will partner directly with the founding staff to design and implement strategies that take the venture from concept to traction. You will bring expertise across both non-profit and for-profit ecosystems, ensuring our model is resilient, compliant, and adaptable to diverse stakeholders (investors, consumers, and social partners).

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the founder and team through 0→1 strategy design: product-market fit, lean operations, and scalable processes.
• Advise on hybrid structures (non-profit and for-profit) to maximize impact and sustainability.
• Support in drafting credible documentation (pitch decks, compliance papers, outreach material).
• Provide scenario-based insights for fundraising, partnerships, and social initiatives.
• Act as a sounding board for strategic decisions, balancing empathy with tough, fair evaluation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in early-stage startups (0→1 journey preferred).
• Exposure to both non-profit and for-profit models, with ability to bridge them strategically.
• Strong understanding of legal compliance in startup documentation and governance.
• Track record of mentorship/advisory roles with founders or lean teams.
• Ability to design modular, scalable processes for outreach, hiring, and onboarding.
