Founder in Residence

The gist

A Founder in Residence builds a new venture from inside our studio. You bring the obsession and the domain insight; we bring the product team, early capital, the Unstuck Method, and a network of 1,000+ founders. The goal is to go from a sharp idea to a launched, fundable company.

What you'll do

• Find and validate a problem worth your next several years.
• Work through the Unstuck Method: purpose, validation, Unstuck Canvas, build, launch.
• Run customer discovery relentlessly — talk to real buyers, early and often.
• Build toward traction the studio can help you raise on.

What we're looking for

• A track record of building or shipping something (company, product, or project).
• Deep insight into a specific market or problem.
• Comfortable with uncertainty and doing the unglamorous work.
• Based in or willing to be in the DC area for the program.

Bonus points

• Previous founder experience.
• Technical ability to prototype.
• An idea you can't stop thinking about.
