Chief Financial Officer — Mighty Wash
Lubbock, TX · On-site · $190K–$220K + bonus
Mighty Wash is a 30-location express car wash platform operating across West Texas, East New Mexico, and Central Texas. We are bringing on a Chief Financial Officer at a pivotal moment in our trajectory: a private equity transaction is anticipated within the next 12 months, and we are actively expanding through new builds and acquisitions on a path from 30 to 100 locations.
The Opportunity
This is a true builder's CFO seat. You will own the financial strategy, analytical infrastructure, and accounting operations of a growth-stage, multi-site operator preparing to tell its story to institutional capital partners. You will report directly to the CEO, sit on the senior executive team, and have a meaningful voice in how the next chapter of this company gets written.
What You'll Own
• Lead all financial preparation for the company's PE transaction — data room, EBITDA models (current and predictive), due diligence, and the financial narrative we present to partners
• Build the analytical infrastructure that connects financial outcomes to operational drivers: membership growth, revenue per car, labor efficiency, chemical costs, and site-level contribution margins
• Champion site-level financial accountability across 30 locations and develop P&L ownership and financial literacy among field operators
• Assess the current accounting team's structure, capabilities, and capacity — and design the finance organization that will support the next phase of growth
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, treasury, audit, and multi-state compliance
• Provide financial leadership on new builds and acquisition diligence
Who We're Looking For
• 10–15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including prior CFO, VP of Finance, or senior finance leadership
• Direct experience with a private equity transaction (sell-side, recap, or growth equity) — strongly preferred
• Multi-location operational finance experience — required
• Industry background in automotive services, retail, hospitality, franchise, or membership/subscription businesses — preferred
• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Business; MBA strongly preferred; CPA strongly preferred
• An executive who is equally comfortable in a boardroom and in the details of a site-level P&L
Compensation
$190,000–$220,000 base + performance bonus, plus comprehensive benefits.
