President — Business Aviation Cabin Products
Indexed description
Location: West Palm Beach, FL (on-site) · Additional production facility in Tucson, AZ and Farmingdale, NY Reports to: Owner/Board of Directors Type: Full-time, executive leadership
After two decades building one of the most respected names in luxury business aviation cabin products, we've reached the point where the business needs a dedicated top operator to lead it into its next phase of growth. Our product portfolio is expanding, our OEM partnerships are deepening, and demand across the fleet is accelerating. We're hiring a President & General Manager to own the entire operation end to end — and to scale it.
This is a rare seat: full P&L ownership of a profitable, growing, high-margin manufacturer with an established team, a premium brand, and a wide-open runway.
We design and manufacture custom, high-end cabin products for the business aviation market — sleep systems and mattresses, lightweight stone and decorative surfaces, galley and drawer inserts, soft goods, and bespoke cabin décor. For roughly twenty years we've served leading airframe OEMs, fractional and charter operators, completion centers, MRO facilities, and flight departments, and we're well represented at the industry's major trade shows. We build to exacting standards for demanding customers, and we've earned our relationships one delivery at a time.
We operate two facilities, carry an experienced sales and operations team, and are actively growing our product lines and OEM programs. This is not a turnaround — it's a well-run, expanding company that needs a leader to take the wheel.
Twelve months in, you own the number. The manufacturing floor across both facilities runs on rails, lead times are tight, and quality is uncompromised. Sales and operations are aligned under your leadership, our OEM and operator relationships are deeper than when you arrived, and at least one adjacent product line is contributing meaningful new revenue. You've put systems and process where there was founder dependency, and the business is measurably more scalable because you're in the seat.
- Full P&L for the business — revenue, margin, cost structure, and growth.
- Manufacturing operations across two facilities, including throughput, quality, capacity planning, and capital equipment decisions.
- Sales and business development leadership — directing the existing sales team and personally cultivating relationships across OEMs, operators, completion centers, and flight departments.
- The leadership team — hiring, developing, and holding accountable the operations, sales, and production leaders who report to you.
- Product and margin growth — expanding existing lines, launching adjacencies, and improving unit economics.
- Systems and process — building the operational infrastructure (planning, reporting, workflow) that lets the company scale without the owner in the day-to-day.
- Industry presence — representing the company at trade shows and with key partners as the face of the operation.
Required:
- Senior operational leadership experience — GM, VP of Operations, COO, or President — in manufacturing, custom products, or a build-to-order environment.
- Direct experience in business or general aviation, with a working understanding of how OEMs, operators, completion centers, and flight departments buy and operate.
- A track record of P&L ownership and delivering on revenue and margin targets.
- Proven ability to lead a full organization — sales, operations, and manufacturing — not just one function.
- Comfort operating hands-on in a privately held, entrepreneurial company where you set the pace.
Preferred:
- Background in cabin interiors, soft goods, luxury custom manufacturing, or aviation materials.
- An existing network across the aviation ecosystem — OEM interiors groups, completion centers, MRO, operators, charter, aircraft sales, and cabin crew / flight departments.
- Experience scaling a company through a defined growth phase, including new product introduction.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and modern operational tooling.
Competitive base salary in the 200k range, plus a performance-based annual bonus tied to profitability, and equity or profit-participation for the right leader. Relocation support available for candidates outside South Florida. This is structured so the person running the business shares in the value they build.
