Job Title: Managing Director (Medical Establishment)

Role Mission
- To provide strategic, operational, and commercial leadership that positions the organization as Nigeria’s leading provider of disease management services to patients living with chronic ailments (Diabetes & End-stage kidney disease).
- The MD/CEO is expected to improve clinical outcomes, expand access, drive financial sustainability, strengthen partnerships, and scale nationwide operations.
- Achieve total company revenue and profit targets
- Business Growth & Expansion: Increase patient volumes by 55% YoY
- Achieve patient satisfaction scores: 90%+ and Net Promoter Score of 50+
- Build and sustain partnerships with key private and public stakeholders
- Implement technology systems to drive data accuracy and operational excellence
- Drive quality clinical standards to ensure patient Safety and improved health outcomes.
- Build and develop a finance team of A-players, with at least 90% meeting or exceeding performance goals.
- Implement a leadership development program, ensuring succession readiness for all key Care top talent roles within 12 months
- Key talent turnover should be less than 10%.
- Achieve zero material audit findings through strengthened internal controls and compliance processes
- Implement a comprehensive risk management framework, mitigating all identified financial risks proactively
- Regulatory & Compliance Excellence: Ensure 100% regulatory compliance
- Implement comprehensive business continuity plans for operational disruptions.
- Relevant Qualifications: An advanced degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field is preferred.
- 12–15 years’ progressive leadership experience, with at least 5–7 years in a senior executive role (MD/CEO, COO, Hospital Director, or equivalent)
- Proven experience within healthcare delivery, preferably in: Chronic disease management (Diabetes, Renal care, Hypertension). Hospitals, clinics, dialysis centres, or healthcare networks
- Demonstrated track record of scaling healthcare operations across multiple locations. Driving revenue growth, profitability, and patient volume expansion
- Leading organizations through growth, transformation, or turnaround phases
- Leadership and Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategies, lead teams, and drive organizational goals.
- Business Acumen and Financial Management: Strong understanding of business operations, budget management, and long-term financial planning.
- Healthcare Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with medical diagnostics solutions and the healthcare sector in Nigeria and West Africa is an advantage.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, clients, and team members, fostering collaboration and partnership.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong analytical skills to address challenges and make strategic decisions for growth and improvement.
