KPMG iscurrently seeking a Director in Workforce Transformation for our Consulting practice.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C-Suite across all talent and workforce programs related to but not limited to impacts from Digital / AI strategies and implementations, M&A, Global Business Services / Outsourcing programs, ERP / Digital Programs, cost-takeout, and other business transformations impacting workforce.
- Drive alignment between business strategy, financial targets and workforce implications.
- Lead large-scale programs integrating: workforce strategy, org design, talent transformation.
- Ensure delivery rigor across diagnostics, decision points, architecture, implementation planning, and value realization.
- Lead enterprise-wide org design, including target operating model, governance, decision rights, and ways of working.
- Oversee workforce sizing, span/layer design, location strategy, and capability build plans inclusive of human + digital / AI considerations
- Modernize end-to-end talent management (Competencies & Skills Development, Performance Management, Workforce Management & Planning, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Organization/Leadership Development, Talent Capability Assessments, Employee Experience and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion).
- Conduct strategic workforce planning (demand/supply, scenario modeling, build/buy/borrow/automate).
- Establish metrics and dashboards for talent health, skills readiness, and workforce productivity.
- Lead cross functional teams to deliver excellent client service, including stakeholder management, meeting and workshop facilitation, deliverable creation and project and financial management
- Expand accounts by identifying adjacent needs (change management, HR transformation, workforce analytics, culture).
- Lead the creation and advancement of thought leadership, internal and external tools and resources and training for workforce transformation effort
- Lead the development and evolution of business, methodologies and intellectual capital including articles, whitepapers and methodology guides
- Participate in business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and assisting with proposal responses and client outreach
- Minimum twelve years of relevant work experience related to the following areas: Organization Design & Effectiveness, Target Operating Model Strategy, Competencies & Skills Development, Performance Management, Workforce Management & Planning, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Organization/Leadership Development, Talent Capability Assessments, Employee Experience and Strategic Workforce Planning; preferred ten years of experience in advisory services within a major consulting firm
- Experience with Talent and Org Design tools in the market needed (e.g., OrgVue, HRIS Systems, Learning systems, etc.)
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university required; Advanced degree in I/O Psychology, Organizational Development or related field preferred
- Experience leading business transformation initiatives based on a deep understanding of business processes, project management methodologies and leading practices in the human capital space
- Experience in Change Management methods to support execution of workforce strategies
- Prior work managing a portfolio of clients and client activities within a project or team, including setting priorities, balancing competing deadlines and lead conversations and create stakeholder engagement with clients and colleagues across an organizational hierarchy
- Strong demonstrated ability in AI tools (e.g., CoPilot, Gemini, etc.), PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, and other Microsoft tools to develop work plans, articulate complex issues, analyze data, and structure information
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and train staff-level professionals and excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with clients and colleagues across onshore and offshore
- Previous experience in scoping, project management, budget management, and staffing projects and experience managing a portfolio of activities within a project or team; previous experience in setting priorities and balancing competing deadlines desired
- Travel may be up to 80-100%
