Executive

Our company is a contracting firm operating in the construction sector, delivering projects across the MENA region. We are seeking an exceptional senior professional to strengthen our strategy, execution, and risk management capabilities.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Board of Directors and/or General Manager–level reporting Executive who will act as a key representative of the company in the market. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of construction contracting, exceptional leadership in engineering/architecture matters, and the ability to create actionable strategies and alternatives across finance, sales, procurement, and general management.

This role requires someone who has worked extensively in the region, closely follows market dynamics and opportunities, and ensures smooth project tracking while addressing potential risks with improvement-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Directly report to the Board and/or General Manager, providing strategic insights, recommendations, and decision support.
• Represent the company with business partners and stakeholders, maintaining strong market presence and relationships.
• Develop and execute market strategy by closely tracking projects, opportunities, and competitive trends in the region.
• Lead project follow-up and performance monitoring, ensuring delivery targets are met and issues are resolved quickly.
• Create risk mitigation and improvement plans for potential operational, commercial, and delivery risks.
• Drive solution-oriented leadership across key areas:
• Financial management and cash flow
• Business development
• Engineering and architectural problem-solving
• Procurement and cost strategy
• Sales planning and commercial execution
• Proactively identify issues and implement root-cause solutions, with strong engineering/architecture knowledge.
• Motivate and lead teams to achieve results and continuously improve performance.
• Build internal alignment to ensure technical competence translates into practical project outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of senior-level experience in construction contracting / related fields (engineering or architecture background preferred).
• Engineering or Architecture degree completed from a reputable/internationally recognized institution.
• Strong background in technical contracting operations, with proven capability in engineering/architecture leadership.

• Proven experience in strategy development and alternative planning for:
• Finance Management
• Sales & Business Development
• Procurement
• Contract & Project Management

• Fluent English and professional communication skills.
• Regional experience: experience working in the Middle East and strong understanding of local market practices.
• Ability and willingness to relocate or reside in the Middle East if required.
• Strong decision-making skills, stakeholder management, and ownership mindset.
