Core Focus
The primary responsibility of the position is to:
Interacts directly with the CEO and Greater China Corporate Office Department Heads in shaping the long-term vision, managing M&A/JV partnerships, and preparing executive-level governance materials.
Primary Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Lead the development of the 5–10 year integrated strategic plan for Greater China (organic growth, M&A, partnerships).
- Partnerships & JV Governance: Drive enterprise-level initiatives (e.g., Strategic Partnership, new brand licensing) from conception to deal execution.
- Executive Reporting: Prepare Board-level and ExCo-level strategic review decks (narrative, market trends, competitive positioning).
- Global HQ Liaison: Act as the primary strategic interface between Greater China and Global Headquarters.
- Development Support: Work with Development on footprint expansion (luxury, tier 1/2 cities) by providing market intelligence and strategic justification.
- Investment Underwriting: Lead the strategic justification for new hotel projects (feasibility narratives, market entry logic) for the Investment Committee.

- 5–10 Year Strategic Plan Document
- Board/ExCo Strategy Decks (Quarterly)
- Partnership Roadmaps
- Competitive Market Intelligence Reports
Knowledge and Experience
- Background: Strategy consulting (MBB / Big 4 Strategy), Corporate Development, or Senior In-house Strategy.
- Skills: Advanced financial modeling, narrative-building, C-suite storytelling, deal structuring.
- Tools: Excel (advanced), PowerPoint (expert). Zero SQL/Tableau development required.
- Mindset: Comfortable with ambiguity, high EQ for managing senior stakeholders (CEO, Global HQ).
