The Opportunity

Our client, an international technical services consulting company, is seeking an entrepreneurial and commercially minded Country Manager to establish and grow our Vietnam business. This role is responsible for leading the company's market expansion, building a high-performing local team, and delivering sustainable business growth while ensuring operational excellence and profitability.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with commercial acumen and leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Leadership: Lead the overall Vietnam business with full accountability for business performance and long-term growth.
• Strategic Business Growth: Build the company's reputation and market presence in Vietnam through industry networking and thought leadership.
• Team Building & Talent Development: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary engineering and consulting team.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient business operations and resource planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in engineering, technical consulting, infrastructure, or a related industry.
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of business operations, financial management, and P&L ownership.
• Experience supporting business development activities and engaging with senior-level clients.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English.

• Experience establishing or expanding a business in a new market.
• Experience collaborating with regional or international teams
