Chief Financial Officer

CFO Vacancy Austin Texas, Up to $350,000 per annum plus benefits

A fast growth, private equity backed construction firm based in Austin are looking for a CFO to join their team to lead their US operations and strategy. This is not an ivory tower, strategic role, instead you will be hands on, involved in the day to day operations whilst leading the investor relations and longer term strategic planning.

This is a site based requirement in Cedar Park and the compensation on offer is up to $350,000 per annum plus bonus, healthcare, 401K plan, vacation and a discussion around equity plans.

What is the role?

The CFO will be required to be hands on across the organization whilst taking a lead on:

• Group finance strategy and longer term planning, including partnering board and investment groups with fundraising strategies, acquisition integration and roadmaps and delivery of a scalable group finance model
• Leading financial due diligence for acquisitions and monitoring post acquisition value propositions and reporting
• Establish and drive the operational methodologies within the group and integrating acquisitions
• Partnering project and operational leaders to deliver sound advice surrounding contracts, performance and enhancing processes where possible
• Management of company wide budgeting and forecasting
• Driving sound cash and capital management strategies, WIP reporting, fixed asset management and delivery of KPI and operational metrics surrounding projects
• Leading company wide accounting compliance tasks including GAAP reporting, tax and audit responsibilities
• Seeking to drive performance efficiencies through the use of ERP, AI and wider technologies
• Management of operational finance tasks
• Ad hoc reporting and analysis when required

To be considered for the role of CFO, applicants will need to:

• Have demonstrable experience within a senior finance leadership position in a high growth/PE or VC backed environment
• Be able to demonstrate exposure to M&A integrations
• Currently be working in or have extensive previous exposure to a construction, civil or other project focused environment
• Ideally hold CPA or MBA however this is not essential
• Have experience of working internationally as this role will oversee the EU and UK markets also
• Be able to work onsite in Cedar Park, Austin on a permanent basis
