Principal Program Manager - PWS Ecosystem & Platforms
Indexed description
The Role:
The Personal Work Solutions (PWS) business group at Logitech is the engine behind the tools millions of people rely on every day to create, collaborate, and work—including mice, keyboards, webcams, tablet keyboards, headsets, speakers, and presentation remotes. It represents more than half of Logitech revenue.
In the era of AI disruption, our devices are no longer just peripherals; they are the extension of human hands, voice, and senses. We are the bridge between the physical person (typing, speaking, clicking, being seen) and the digital world. Our mission is to transform these individual touchpoints into a seamless, intelligent ecosystem.
The Mission:
As the Principal PWS Ecosystem & Platforms Program Manager, you will act as the "right arm" to the PWS Head of Product & Innovation, leading PWS technical program management.
PWS is organized around three business units focusing on vertical execution. You will own the horizontal connective tissue across these three BUs. You will bridge the gap between visionary product strategy and high-velocity R&D execution across multiple teams globally. You will drive the PWS R&D coordination, to ensure our hardware, software, design, and strategic partnerships come together as one cohesive program. You will ensure we achieve our goals within budget, cost, schedule (HW & SW), and experience targets, while keeping an eye for our security and sustainability goals.
Your Contribution:
Be Yourself. Be Open. Stay Hungry and Humble. Collaborate. Challenge. Decide and just Do. Share our passion for Equality and the Environment. These are the behaviors and values you’ll need for success at Logitech. In this role, you will the following responsibilities:
- Horizontal R&D Alignment & Innovation Governance
- Orchestrate the Innovation Funnel: Drive the cross-BU planning cycle for our 3-year innovation roadmaps, ensuring deep alignment between product visions and engineering capabilities. Lead the annual “3-year innovation strategy” off-site with the PWS head of product.
- Lead Cross-Functional Governance: Own and optimize the monthly PWS R&D alignment forums. Serve as the bridge between the three Business Units: 3 Heads of Product, 3 Heads of HW Engineering, and 1 Head of SW Engineering.
- Manage the PWS Experience Platforms: Drive technical coordination across PWS for experiences that impact multiple product categories. Key platforms such as AI-enabled workflows, security, connectivity and sustainability.
- Coordinate program & schedule across multiple functions: Design, UX, SW, HW, Partner alliances. Working closely with heads of product and the program managers of each of the R&D functions.
- Strategic Partnership & Influence: Craft and lead the strategic innovation direction in collaboration with key internal and external partners (platform partners, technology suppliers), leveraging their expertise to co-create and de-risk the future product and technology pipeline.
- Full-Scope, High-Stakes Project Leadership
- Drive Complex Initiatives: Take direct operational ownership of high-impact, multi-threaded projects that defy traditional functional boundaries (e.g., leading a deeply complex partnership with a big platform partner, launching a unified software/hardware experience).
- Break Down Functional Silos: Step in where traditional, function-specific program managers (HW, SW, Design) stop. Synthesize engineering timelines, software readiness, go-to-market (GTM), partnership requirements, regional nuances, and retail readiness into a singular, executable program.
- Ecosystem Connection: Ensure new and existing products seamlessly interconnect to create a fluid, intuitive hardware and software ecosystem.
Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following skills and experiences to our team:
- The "T-Shaped" Toolkit: Proven track record leading R&D programs that involve complex hardware and software in B2C and B2B. You speak the language of engineers, designers, business, and commercial marketers equally well.
- Gravitas & Executive Influence: Senior enough to challenge, align, and partner with Vice Presidents, General Managers, and Directors across engineering, product and business organizations.
- Ambiguity Navigator: You thrive in the "gray space." When a critical partnership project touches five different teams with no clear owner, you naturally step in, map out the dependencies, and drive the team to the finish line.
- Ecosystem Thinker: You look at a mouse, a webcam, and a software platform and see a single, continuous user experience, not three separate products.
- Experience: 10+ years of hands-on R&D program management, technical product management, or engineering leadership within consumer electronics, or complex hardware/software environments. Experience delivering new HW & SW consumer electronics all the way to mass production and launch.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel globally
