Deputy Chief of Staff

We are representing a successful, entrepreneurial technology organisation seeking an exceptional Deputy Chief of Staff to work closely with the founder across a portfolio of fast-growing businesses.

This is a broad, high-exposure opportunity for someone who has already developed strong commercial judgement and now wants to operate at the heart of an ambitious, small and fast-moving technology environment at Series-A stage.

The Role

You will take ownership of a varied range of strategic and operational priorities, including:

• Supporting strategic and commercial initiatives
• Managing relationships with senior external stakeholders
• Producing high-quality presentations, briefings and communications
• Supporting investment and business development activity
• Coordinating projects involving internal teams and external advisers
• Researching new markets and commercial opportunities
• Supporting recruitment and organisational initiatives
• Taking ownership of time-sensitive projects as business priorities evolve

The underlying role includes stakeholder management, external communications, board and investor materials, legal coordination, research, deal support and hiring.

The Person

We are particularly interested in candidates with 3–5 years’ professional experience gained in one or more of:

Investment Banking | Venture Capital | Management Consulting | Strategy | Operations | Chief of Staff

You will be highly articulate, commercially minded and confident communicating with senior stakeholders. Strong judgement, discretion and the ability to operate independently are essential.

A strong academic background is required including a Bachelor’s degree from a highly regarded/top-tier university.

You should have a genuine interest in AI and emerging technology and be enthusiastic about using AI-enabled tools and new ways of working.

Package & Location

$150,000–$180,000 + competitive equity

US-based remote, with regular travel to San Francisco.
