Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a multi-year technology strategy and transformation roadmap aligned with Galloway's business objectives and long-term growth.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing technology organization through organizational design, talent acquisition, leadership development, and succession planning.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on technology trends, digital transformation, AI, cybersecurity, and technology investment priorities.
- Drive innovation, automation, and emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency, project delivery, client outcomes, and business scalability.
- Lead enterprise technology across infrastructure, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, business continuity, enterprise applications, data governance, and technology operations.
- Oversee enterprise applications, integrations, collaboration tools, and business systems that support finance, HR, operations, project delivery, and executive decision-making.
- Establish technology governance, architecture standards, policies, and investment frameworks that align technology decisions with business strategy and risk management.
- Lead the firm's cybersecurity, data protection, identity and access management, vendor risk, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity programs.
- Develop and mature the firm's data and analytics capabilities, including business intelligence, KPI reporting, data quality, forecasting, and operational insights.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, office expansions, and other growth initiatives through technology due diligence, systems integration, data migration, and platform consolidation.
- Oversee technology budgeting, vendor partnerships, licensing, capital planning, and ROI for enterprise technology investments.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, accountability, and strong business partnership across the technology organization.
Qualifications
- A builder's mindset with a proven track record of creating, transforming, or scaling technology organizations in high-growth environments.
- Executive technology leadership experience with the ability to align technology strategy with business goals and drive measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise technology transformation, including platform modernization, cybersecurity, governance, change management, and organizational growth.
- Strong expertise across enterprise technology, including infrastructure, cloud platforms, networks, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, integrations, data platforms, and collaboration tools.
- A passion for leveraging technology to drive innovation, operational excellence, and competitive advantage.
- Strong business and financial acumen, including budget ownership, vendor management, contract negotiation, business case development, and ROI analysis.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to influence executives, business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and external partners.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business recommendations.
- Proven ability to lead through growth, ambiguity, and change while maintaining accountability for technology performance, security, service delivery, and business results.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, business administration, engineering, or a related field required.
- Master’s degree in business administration, information systems, technology management, cybersecurity, data analytics, or a related field preferred.
- Fifteen or more years of progressive technology leadership experience, including significant experience leading enterprise technology strategy, IT operations, cybersecurity, business systems, data strategy, infrastructure, and technology teams.
- Executive-level technology leadership experience in a multi-office, growth-oriented, professional services, architecture, engineering, construction, consulting, or project-based organization preferred.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, office openings, or organizational growth initiatives preferred.
- Experience with AEC-related business operations, project-based financial systems, utilization, backlog, WIP, forecasting, project delivery platforms, and data-driven operational reporting strongly preferred.
