Co-Managing Director – Operations & Growth (Mavie Subsidiary)
Indexed description
To turn this vision into reality, we rely on exceptional talent—innovative thinkers, problem-solvers, and collaborative team players driven by a passion for modern healthcare solutions. As a fast-growing corporate start-up, we offer a dynamic and flexible environment where you have the freedom to bring bold ideas to life while continuously learning and growing.
At Mavie, we embrace a culture of freedom and responsibility, with open feedback, trust, and personal development at the core. There’s no rigid template, just an emphasis on sound judgment, data-driven decisions, experimentation, and the unique perspectives you bring.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Co-Managing Director (Mavie Subsidiary) to help shape the next chapter of growth and development.
This is a broad leadership role for a business-minded generalist who enjoys operating across strategy, operations, people, and organizational development. Working closely with the leadership team, you will support and enable evolution into a more scalable, structured, and digitally enabled organization by aligning people, processes, and priorities across the business.
You will help future-proof the organization by supporting the transition from a founder-led business to a management-led organization with scalable processes, clear accountability, and a strong second layer of leadership. Rather than being a functional expert, you will act as a connector across the business—bringing together with stakeholders, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping turn strategic priorities into operational reality.
For the right candidate, this role offers a unique opportunity to grow with the business and take it over from the founders.
YOUR CHALLENGE / TASKS
- Drive end-to-end operational integration across core business processes in Austria
- Standardize and professionalize workflows across caregiver operations, customer onboarding, and service delivery
- Build scalable organizational structures, roles, and responsibilities where gaps currently exist and use digital enablers where it fits.
- Support the digitization of key operational and customer-facing processes
- Improve conversion from inbound demand into active care placements through process and system optimization
- Enable data-driven decision-making through improved reporting, KPIs, and operational transparency
- Lead and support transformation initiatives that move the organization from informal to structured ways of working
- Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment between operational execution and strategic growth priorities
- Support cultural change toward accountability, clarity, and performance orientation
- 5–10 years of professional experience in operations, consulting, healthcare services, change & transformation, or scale-up environments
- Strong ability to translate strategy into execution and structured operating models
- Experience working in fast-growing or less structured environments where you helped transform processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, data-driven mindset
- Proven ability to design and implement operational processes and organizational frameworks
- High emotional intelligence and strong stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on mindset with willingness to dive into operational detail when needed
- Ability to balance structure-building with sensitivity for a human-centered care environment
- Experience in home care, nursing, healthcare or service-based industries
- Exposure to digital transformation, CRM/ ERP implementation and optimization, platform building, or operational excellence programs
- Background in consulting, operations management, or entrepreneurial environments
