About iX Biopharma

iX Biopharma is an SGX listed specialty pharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialisation of innovative therapies using its proprietary WaferiX® sublingual drug delivery platform. As the company enters its next phase of growth, it is executing a major strategic expansion into the United States, anchored by a landmark US$41 million development contract from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) to fund Phase 3 clinical development of Wafermine®, its patented sublingual ketamine wafer for acute pain. Backed by this contract, the company is scaling up its U.S. infrastructure and manufacturing footprint to accelerate production and commercial market entry to the United States.


The Role

The candidate will work closely with, and provide comprehensive analytical, drafting, and administrative support, directly to the CEO.


Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the CEO on day to day strategic initiatives, managing critical workstreams, and ensuring alignment and follow through across the organization.

• Working closely with the CEO on corporate development matters, including fundraising, partnerships, market expansion, and strategic transactions.

• Assisting with strategic drafting and preparation for board meetings, investor meetings, corporate presentations, and roadshows.

• Driving research, analysis, due diligence, briefing materials, and execution support for key business initiatives and special projects.

• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including finance, legal, bankers, investors, and other advisers.


Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is sharp, highly dependable, and motivated by the opportunity to work directly with a founder/CEO in a high-growth environment. This role suits someone who wants broad exposure and steep learning in strategic and transactional work.


Preferred qualifications:

• Legally trained from a reputable university.

• Prior exposure to fundraising, transaction execution, and financial analysis will be highly regarded. Min of 3 years experience preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Discretion, and the ability to handle confidential matters with maturity.

• Willingness to travel and support roadshows, investor meetings, and other CEO led initiatives as required.
