Job Summary: The role directs strategic port logistics, manage multimillion-dollar P&L budgets, oversee vessel berthing, yard automation, and cargo handling. The role will ensure strict compliance with maritime safety standards while driving efficiency and rapid turnaround times for major shipping clients
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Support regional operational strategies and deploy standardized policies that maximize port productivity and profitability.
- Operational Management: Oversee vessel, yard, and gate operations to achieve rapid container/cargo throughput.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce rigorous health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols, alongside international maritime mandates like SOLAS and MARPOL.
- Stakeholder Relations: Liaise with custom authorities, B2B shipping clients, and government agencies to prevent operational bottlenecks.
- Financial & Budget Oversight: Manage complex terminal budgets, optimizing resource allocation and equipment deployment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Maritime Operations, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: Typically 8 to 10+ years of high-performance experience in high-volume terminal management or maritime logistics hubs.
- Technical Proficiency: Absolute mastery of Terminal Operating Systems (TOS), automated container handling, and port management software.
- Crisis Management: High psychological resilience to manage industrial dockyard emergencies and extreme weather operations.
